Grab Your Board And Go Waterboarding With Sean Hannity -- For Charity
Sean Hannity (RWN)* calls waterboarding "dunking" and thinks it sounds like lotsa fun, kids!
He volunteered to undergo what others have proclaimed "torture" -- provided he got paid a lot of moolah (which he would -- of course -- donate to charity).
Writer Christopher Hitchins (Vanity Fair) voluntarily underwent waterboarding during a George Plimpton-style "participatory journalism" experience and described it as "terrifying." He said, "It feels as if you are drowning, because you are drowning."
Keith Olberman (MSN) has offered $1,000 for every second Hannity withstands a good dunking.
According to the May 30, 2005 Bradbury memo, Khalid Sheikh Mohammed was waterboarded 183 times in March 2003 and Abu Zubaydah was waterboarded 83 times.
Proponents of this aggressive interrogation technique claim that it not only yields "good intelligence" but that the intelligence from the 183rd dunking is even better than the info from the previous 182.
